To Krystal who is excellent in her communication and responsiveness to questions. To the crew that came out to do our basement. They were timely, professional, and even finished 1/2 day earlier than expected. Installation crew took some time in the very beginning when they first arrived, to listen to me and my concerns and my expectations. They worked with me and some of my requests. Let me start by saying how happy I am with the finished project. To start I have lived in my house for 26 years. We have always had a sump pump and from what I was told a perimeter drainage system. The sump pump worked fine as long as the pump worked. Over the years we went through maybe 10 pumps, added a "battery back up system" Then the past couple of years we noticed that the pumps did not seem to keep up. 2018 we started getting water on the floor with any type of rain. I called Mike @ Premier and he came out next day, to take a look. Mike explained what was going on in my basement and why I was getting the water. He explained what he would do and why he could guarantee I would not get water again. Mike sent me the price and I started my research. What I found is that no one in the area would do the job like Premier. No one used the sump pump system they use. Everyone seems to use basic sump pumps. Premier uses Ion Genius pumps and back up. They first installed the pump and then came back to install the system. These guys were absolutely amazing! They came in did the demo of the basement, tore out the old clogged system. Installed the new system and poured new concrete in three and a half days. These guys were neat fast and professional. Corey took the time each day to explain every aspect of what was done each day and made sure I understood how every step they took, benefits the system in the long run. On the final day we did the walk through and everything was explained from how the water will never be able to come into the basement again to how the sump pump and battery back work. They installed clean outs all though out the system so with regular maintenance, it will never clog again. Beyond happy with the job these guys did and the piece of mind I am left with. “We would recommend Premier Basement Waterproofing to anyone that needs work done on their house. Mike and Corey evaluated the work that needed to be done in the crawlspace under the cottage we recently purchased. It is a 90 year old former camp house on a pond. The crawl space was a mud filled nightmare. They explained all the work that needed to be done and answered all our questions. It was a big job to clean out the mess under the house, repair walls, replace and install support columns, install a new state of the art sump pump, dehumidifier and encapsulate the entire crawl space. “We went with Premier Basement Waterproofing to get an estimate after having on/off water in the basement over the past few months. We read reviews and contacted 3 companies for estimates. After emailing back and forth his assistant Kristal, we cancelled the other two estimators and just went with Premier! Kristal was so nice and so helpful. It seemed like she liked her job and cared about helping us. Between her and then the reviews, we felt like even if this company wasn’t the cheapest, customer service shown just to make the appointment was worth it! Boy am I glad we did!!! Michael the owner came out to do the estimate. He was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He looked at our basement and the back yard. “I had called them last year to take care of my basement since it was in very bad shape we had an old French drain there and this was not sufficient to keep the basement dry, our basement was always so damp we could also see some mold growing , like I said above it was in a bad shape. As you can see this was a pretty big project, the entire job was done in matter of days and we had people coming in in out the house and they made sure to have tarps all over the traffic area that way they insured that our house was not dirty an the professionalism of the workers were exceptional, they made sure to go over the work being done and announced when they were coming an leaving it was an overall great experience and it has been a year later and my basement is essentially dry and me and my family are enjoying the extra space , I would recommend them for any basement jobs small or large, I am extremely satisfied with them.

I contacted Premier Basement Waterproofing in June of 2017 for an estimate to replace two old, noisy sump pumps in a house I had just bought. Michael Albert, the owner, come out promptly, explained all the options and answered all my questions. The replacement pump was installed in July 2017. The installation went without a hitch, and the sump has functioned flawlessly for the past year. There has been no water in the basement at all, even with snowmelt and heavy rains, the basement air feels drier, and the pump is silent. I never hear it. Exactly as Michael said it would be. I have been in my house for twenty years with a bone dry basement, until last spring. I had about 5 inches of water in my finished basement. I called several different companies looking for solutions to my problem, many did not show up or return calls. Mike at Premier was the only one who actually listened to me! We talked through possible causes and he gave me many different solutions. They did a great job, most important they fixed the problem the correct way, not by putting one of those "cheesy" channels all around the perimeter, but by actually digging down to the bottom of the footing and putting drainage channels into a sump pump. Their price was also lower than those franchise companies. Their work was beautiful, professional and did a nice job cleaning up. Forget the big guys! Make the little guys the big guys!! Let me start by saying I have a home build in 1957 approximately 300 yards from a reservoir. With this being said in twice in 2016 (March and April) I got over 100 gallons of water in my basement virtually destroying all my carpet and drywall in the areas. I knew I had get help so I made appointments with multiple different companies for estimates and explanations. Mike really stood out saying that we can help not hopefully we can help you. He discussed everything at length. They had very competitive prices as well as looking at the equipment quality compared to the competition it was great. He gave me time to make my decision without pressure which I appreciated. In April 2017 Corey and his crew came and worked hard! They were efficient and willing to work with my hours that I work so I could still get some sleep. Any questions I had were always met with reassuring answers. A year and 3 months later through some pretty terrible weather and not so much as a drop of water later with everything working amazing. Give the smaller companies a try you will be surprised!! I had Premier Basement Waterproofing do work on my basement and garage the last week in March 2018. They did perimeter drains in the basement and a sump pump and short (7 foot) drain in my garage. They were knowledgeable, competent, responsive and professional through the whole process. Michael was very knowledgeable and straightforward when he came to look at my basement. They were the only company I talked to who would excavate down to the footers to put in the drains. They went above and beyond what the contract called for in my garage and were genuinely interested in helping me solve the water problem there. We have had a few torrential rains, especially yesterday - Marathon Monday 4/16/18 - and the basement and garage were both dry. The property we own has always had a high water table. In 2001, our basement started to take on large amounts of water and became worse over time. We had another company install a basement waterproofing system in 2003. This system never worked perfectly and was very costly in electrical bills as well as still taking on water occasionally. Over time, this system became clogged and more and more inefficient. In November 2017 we called Premier Basement Waterproofing and spoke with Kristal who was always helpful and knowledgeable. She got us in touch with Mike. Mike set up an appointment and we planned for the new system. He was very pleasant and professional. In February 2018, the work began. The foreman Ritchie, co-owner Corey and crew were always prompt, polite and courteous. The crew was punctual and did a fantastic job in design, problem solving and execution of the entire job. As soon as the job ended, the weather provided immediate tests for this new and improved basement waterproofing system. It passed the test and continuing to do so to this day. Our house has always had water issues due to a high water table in our area. I finally got sick of the wet basement and called Mike. He came out the next day and provided me with a quote and a plan to fix all of my problems. The quote was more then fair and if I would have known how cheap it was I wouldn't of waited years to do it. They showed up within a few days and dug down and installed a new sump pump and also fixed a crack in the wall. This eliminated all of our water problems and headaches associated with them. In the months since its been done we have not had one problem. We even saved tons of money on our electric bill each month due to no longer having to have a dehumidifier running all the time and an air purifier running at all times and a sump pump that pumped every 4-5 minutes. Having a summer home turned year round that only has a crawl space and only had a couple of feet and less to work in posed a problem how to adequately insulate the perimeter. After meeting with Corey Leblanc and discussing my options I choose to have him encapsulate the entire area. We had a really tough project on the house with the large crawl space which needed cleaning/insulating/waterproofing etc. Michael went out to the site and provided me with a detailed plan. I am putting my home up for sale and was advised by the realtor that the garage floor had serious problems - numerous and significant foundation cracks, seriously uneven areas, stains and pet odors. I contacted Michael at Premier, and he and Corey responded the next day to visit the home and identify possibilities for repair and diagnose any foundation problems which may have resulted in the cracks as well as methods that might be used to remove the pet odors. They made it clear that their objective was to provide the best service at the lowest cost, which I truly appreciated. Having no knowledge of this area of construction, I feel like I was thoroughly informed of the alternatives. It turns out that the garage floor was improperly installed decades ago, and frost heaves resulted. They advised that the most cost effective alternative would be to jack hammer out the floor and pour concrete for a new floor. To prevent cracks from happening in the future, a frost barrier was recommended. (Ugh! I thought. That's going to be really expensive.) I was so pleased at the quote I received in the detailed written proposal. Work was completed quickly and on schedule. The quality is excellent and well worth the investment. My basement has been completely dry since PBW put in a waterproofing system, even after some very rainy seasons (and I'm at the bottom of a hill). Over the course of four weeks, I had recently semi-finished a gymnastics/dance area in my basement to surprise my daughter for her birthday. With less than a week before her birthday and the project 95% complete, a rain storm hit and I found a rather significant amount of water leaking through a basement wall crack -- all over and right in the middle of all the floor & wall mats I had already installed. Once I took a breath and counted to ten, my first thought was to go buy some hydraulic cement from a big box store and patch it, but I quickly realized that would only be a band-aid solution and a decision I would later regret. I then began my research and thought that an epoxy injection method by a professional was most appropriate.
I created a post on Thumbtack.com in search of a professional who could get the job done. Michael from Premier Basement Waterproofing quickly responded (on Saturday) and we had a conversation. He explained that, given my house was only built two years ago, the crack would only get bigger over the years and that an epoxy injection was still just going to be a band-aid (and could potentially even make the problem worse). He then fully described the solution he very confidently uses for issues such as this and backs with a 100% warrantee -- for life! Given his long-time waterproofing experience & expertise, coupled with our thorough conversation and his reasonable price and willingness to work within my time constraints (I still needed to re-finish the gym area before Friday), I green-lighted him for a Thursday job.
Michael was thorough with his proposal and establishing the timeline when I could expect Corey (Michael's business partner at PBW) to contact me on Thursday so I could leave my office and make it home on-time to meet their employee (I'm blanking on his name). Come Thursday, I heard from Corey at three minutes before the expected call time indicating the installer would be at my house an hour later. When I arrived at my house exactly an hour later, he was already there waiting for me. I quickly showed him the issue, we talked through the solution again, and he got to work. Two hours later, he requested I come down to the basement. Upon going down there, the project was completed as Michael (and the installer) had originally described and the entire area was already swept clean. His employee showed me exactly what he had done, what to expect for drying time, and asked if I had any questions. Once my questions were thoroughly answered, he cleared out.
When I spoke with Michael to pay by credit card over the phone (as we had originally agreed), his first question was "are you happy with everything?" and ensured I fully understood that if anything occurs where the water issue returns at anytime in the future, he stands behind his company's work 100% and to call his mobile phone any day at any time for an immediate follow-up.
I will be re-finishing the gym area on-time for my daughter's birthday tomorrow as if the water issue never happened, with a solution that will never involve water in that area of the basement again.
Don't bother elsewhere -- Premier Basement Waterproofing is where it's at... A+
